One day Brenda casually mentioned to Jeff, “It’d be fun to cruise around in a convertible”. So began the search for and purchase of Jeff & Brenda’s 1991 Wrangler YJ. After all, what vehicle better answers the convertible call than a red Jeep softtop? A few seasons passed and this little red Wrangler remained the perfect “Soccer Mom” Jeep until one day Jeff and Tom started talking about the Jeep Jamboree…
“What’ll it take to make this YJ ready for the Rubicon?” asked Jeff. That conversation started a build that, while not dramatic, made this 91 YJ a three-time Jamboree veteran without a single mishap.
