Rebel Off-Road always seems to have a huge turn out for their customer appreciation runs. Their recent Big Bear Run was no exception. Tons of nice rigs showed up at the Big Bear Discovery Center to participate in the event, most of them covered with Rebel Off-Road decals. Bond, Jason, Sandy, and Chris schmoozed their customers like old pros and made everyone feel welcome. After a brief drivers meeting, the gathering split into two groups - an entry level group and an intermediate group. Jason was elected to help lead the entry level group while Ed and I joined the intermediate group. Soon Ed and I were off for Matino Wash.

After a 45 minute drive (seemed like hours in SuperCJ) we hit a dirt road and finally Matino Wash. Matino is a rock strewn canyon that makes John Bull look like a paved lot. More than a few rigs winched, jacked, and pulled their way off high-center conditions. It was a challenging trail and ultimately worth the drive. The group had a blast and Bond is fortunate to have such a loyal and enthusiastic customer base. We finished the trail and got back to the Discovery Center just before dark.

Bond hosted a superb BBQ feed at his Big Bear cabin and it was fun relaxing at the end of a great wheeling day. Thank you Rebel Off Road!
